Viña Turquesa Crianza (Bodegas Pedro Moreno 1940) / Wine Packaging Design
Wine Label Redesign Proposal to promote the Crianza Spanish wine called “Viña Turquesa”. It is a Requena-Utiel Protected Designation of Origin red wine, elaborated with a blend of Tempranillo and Bobal grape varieties, and produced by “Bodegas Pedro Moreno 1940”, wineries placed in Jaraguas, small village set in the surroundings of “Hoces del Valle Cabriel”, Natural Park located in Valencia region (Spain). The aim of this project was to enhance the current wine packaging design through a strong visual concept based on the idea of “ORIGINS” as the main feature to define the special taste of “Viña Turquesa”. The ORIGINS visual concept represents the importance of Viña Turquesa birthplace. It was the first bottled wine that Pedro Moreno wineries launched in 1985. As a result, it is an wine with a broad BACKGROUND and HERITAGE behind it. Consequently, Viña Turquesa depicts Pedro Moreno wine legacy inspired by the idea of “Family love for the vineyard” as the main asset of their “good and traditional practice of wine-making”. PLEASE NOTE: I would like to point out that this project is a personal proposal I have designed for the “Wine Label & Packaging Design Course” taught by Moruba Agency and provided by Domestika website. The current Viña Turquesa wine label design is not updated yet, keeping the original design. In order to see more details about my work on this course, clicking on “Curso de Packaging de Vino“.
